"I'd previously tried online physiotherapy and seen shoulder specialists with no improvement. After just two sessions with Tim I'm already noticing a real difference. His advice, hands-on treatment, and tailored exercises have made a significant impact on my recovery."
"After being referred to various consultants abroad with no results, I knew Tim would be able to help. After three sessions I'm able to walk normally, return to exercising, and sleep through the night without the constant nagging ache."
"My pain decreased significantly after only a day and I left knowing exactly how to help myself heal. Tim is a lovely and very knowledgeable man who was able to explain in detail what my issue was and how to treat it."
How I Work
Most musculoskeletal problems respond better to a combination of techniques than any single treatment alone. Rather than applying a fixed protocol, I assess what's driving your pain and build each session around what's most likely to help, drawing from a range of manual therapy, needling, movement and rehabilitation tools.
Hands-on work targeting muscles, tendons and connective tissue to reduce tension, improve movement and support recovery.
Deeper mechanical work to address muscle tightness, improve circulation and aid recovery from training or injury.
Fine needles targeting trigger points and tight tissue to reduce pain and restore normal muscle function.
Gentle joint movement to improve range of motion and reduce stiffness, particularly useful for back, neck and hip problems.
Targeted pressure to release localised areas of muscle tension that refer pain to other parts of the body.
Guided stretching to improve flexibility and correct movement patterns that may be contributing to your pain.
Therapeutic ultrasound to support tissue healing in tendons, ligaments and soft tissue injuries.
Supportive taping to offload injured structures, reduce swelling and maintain movement during recovery.
Tailored guidance on what to do between sessions to support recovery and reduce the risk of recurrence.

About Tim
I'm a soft tissue therapist and sports therapist based in Hove with around ten years of clinical experience treating sports injuries and chronic pain.
My background is in soft tissue therapy, a discipline focused on the muscular, connective tissue and movement system. Over the years I've built on that with a specialist interest in back pain, clinical reasoning, and understanding why some patients don't get better with standard treatment.
That last point matters to me. The patients who tend to find their way to me are often the ones who've already tried things, physiotherapy, chiropractic, rest, painkillers, and haven't resolved. I take that seriously. I don't think a rushed appointment and a generic exercise sheet is good enough for complex presentations.
I've also spent considerable time building clinical assessment tools for back pain, both for patients trying to understand their own condition, and for practitioners working through complex cases. That work has deepened how I think about every patient I see.
